    "Take a magical candle-lit walk through the Yakima Area Arboretum's wintry landscape." December 12th & 13th, new hours: 5pm to 9pm.

    Nothing says holiday magic like the Arboretum’s beloved Luminaria Candle-Lit Walk. For two evenings, the wintry landscape transforms into a glowing wonderland, illuminated by a thousand candles and twinkling lights.

    After the stroll, the Jewett Interpretive Center offers hot chocolate, live music, children’s crafts, and shopping. For those who prefer to enjoy the ambiance without walking the trail, firepits and courtyard seating provide a warm, inviting spot to relax and take in the lights. 

    Public parking for Luminaria is available at the Kiwanis Park Playfields. Yakima Transit will be providing a FREE ADA-accessible shuttle service throughout the event.
