    Yakima's Premiere Multi-Sport Race will take place on Saturday May 30th, 2026 starting at 8am. 
    The Gap2Gap returns to the Yakima Greenway for its 42nd year, continuing a long-standing tradition as Yakima’s premier multi-sport race. This iconic event features two running legs, a road bike, a mountain bike, and a kayak stretch on the Yakima River, challenging athletes across multiple disciplines. Participants can compete as a team or take on the full course solo in the Iron Division. Set along the Greenway and Yakima River corridor, the Gap2Gap celebrates the landscape, community, and adventurous spirit that have made it a beloved local tradition for more than four decades. yakimagreenway.org/gap2gap 

    The Junior race is a fun Multi-Sport Relay on the Yakima Greenway! The race is broken into age categories: 8 and Under, 9-12 and 13-15. There are awards for top three teams and individuals. We are also bringing back the costume contest. Top team and individual in each age group wins! The Junior Gap2Gap takes place in Sarg Hubbard park, the heart of the Adult Gap2Gap, putting kids at the center of this exciting community event!
