February 14-17, 2025
It’s a winter wine country weekend just made for red wine and chocolate lovers! Red Wine and Chocolate is a delicious tradition each Presidents Day weekend. This year, it kicks off with Valentine’s Day! Whether you plan a weekend for fun with friends or you’re looking for a little romance, you’ll find the perfect fit. Valley wineries plan a weekend filled with special tastings, carefully crafted pairings and more. Come discover your favorite red wine and chocolate pairing! Will it be port-infused brownies, s’mores over fire pits, dark chocolate confections, house-crafted truffles, chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate fondue, chocolate charcuterie or specialty chocolate-covered treats from Chuckar Cherries? Of course, you’ll find more than chocolate on the calendar and on the menu! Some wineries will have live music and special happenings planned and several host food trucks or offer wine country fare such as charcuterie and other house-made bites.

Every April, wineries all around the valley open their doors to celebrate the season with Spring Barrel Weekend. It’s been a long-standing tradition for wine lovers to discover the next great Yakima Valley vintages with tastes pulled straight from the barrel. Now, the weekend is filled with a variety of special tasting experiences. In addition to barrel tastings, enjoy brand-new spring wine releases, perfect pairings, educational events, tours, goods and tasty bites from local vendors, live music and plenty of spring festivities.

Rosé Revolution

Take a wine tasting tour and discover the many shades of rosé! This brand-new event kicked off with an amazing start last summer and returns for a much-anticipated second round this June! Join Yakima Valley wineries as they host a pink revolution, showcasing the diversity of all their best rosés. Kick off summer, with a festive splash of pink and enjoy pink-themed festivities, rosé cocktails, perfectly pink pairings and rosé discounts only for the weekend!
