Maker Space : What's the big deal?

A Maker Space is a place for creative thinkers and doers. It is a place to learn a new skill, share your knowledge, and build almost anything.

The reason we need a Space is to give people access to tools and we have lots of them. Imagine your garage expanded to the size of a basketball court then stocked full of tools, gadgets, gizmos and materials!

All of the tools we have lying around are great, but the best part of a Maker Space is the people you meet. By being a member, you are connected to expert seamstresses, potters, electricians, blacksmiths, wood workers, painters, tailors, computer techs, machinists, and even a few friendly scientists. If you don't know how to make something, we guarantee there is someone at the Maker Space who does.

You don't have to be an expert when you walk in the Space. We already have those.

What are the perks of being a member you ask? - Starting October 28 The space will be open to members 48 hours per week. Thursday through Sunday from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. This is your time to meet with others and make to your heart's content.
