  April 22nd: Erik Larson - Erik Larson, a master of narrative non-fiction, is the bestselling author of acclaimed works such as The Devil in the White City, Dead Wake, and The Splendid and the Vile. His latest book, The Demon of Unrest (2024), explores the lead-up to the Civil War. Larson’s works, known for their vivid storytelling, have been published worldwide and adapted for film. A graduate of UPenn and Columbia, he has written for major publications and taught nonfiction writing at top universities.
