  During my 16 years at Yakima Valley Tourism, I have immersed myself in hospitality industry associations/organizations such as WSAE, MPI and SGMP. Having the opportunity to serve on boards for WSAE and SGMP, has really allowed me to understand the hospitality industry from all angles. Native to the Yakima Valley, I have continued to be involved in my community in organizations like the Junior League of Yakima and currently sit on the board for YWCA Yakima and the City of Yakima Parks and Recreation Commission. My focus is primarily government groups and business trade associations.

  I attribute much of my success to working with a very supportive YVT and Sales Team, not to mention having such a great 'product' to sell! After receiving my History degree from Central Washington University, I taught elementary school for 3 years and coached softball at Yakima Valley Community College. I have gained the respect of my colleagues and clients through my 'can do' attitude, taking the time to get to know my clients' needs and, of course, my knowledge of the Yakima Valley.

  I was born and raised in Yakima and have had the opportunity to see the beautiful Valley grow and develop while still staying rooted in its historic charm. After working in the cosmetology industry for 10 years, I made the decision to switch career paths as an Account Manager with Yakima Valley Tourism. I'm excited to share my knowledge and love for the Yakima Valley and be a steppingstone for those wanting to explore all the Valley has to offer. My market segment focus is on the fraternal, religious and education associations. I strive to ensure every group's meeting needs are met, whether that be at the Yakima Convention and Event Center, hotel or one of the many unique event spaces around town.

  As a native to the Yakima Valley, I have an in-depth knowledge of our wineries, breweries, restaurants, and hiking trails. Being a mother also keeps me up to speed with kid friendly events and activities going on locally, and places families will have a guaranteed great experience. I enjoy taking the time to get to know every client in depth and will always go the extra mile to make sure all their wants and needs are met while visiting the Yakima Valley.
