Ready to take your mountain painting to the next level?
Join this two-day, in-depth Mt. Rainier workshop designed for painters who want to better understand how to create realistic-looking mountains with more depth, dimension, and detail.
You will work on a large 20×24 pre-drawn canvas, which means you can skip worrying about getting the initial shape right and spend our time actually learning how to paint the mountain.
Over the two days, things will slow down and really dig into techniques like creating ridges and valleys, building highlights and shadows, adding depth without overworking your painting, understanding how light changes the shape of a mountain, and using some fun mixed-media techniques to create texture and dimension.
This will be a small-group workshop so there’s plenty of time for individual instruction, questions, and hands-on help with your painting.
You don’t need to be an advanced artist! This workshop is perfect for painters who already enjoy painting and are ready to challenge themselves, learn some new techniques, and get more confident painting mountains.
