  Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare follows two interwoven plots in Messina, Italy: young lovers Hero and Claudio's impending marriage, which is nearly ruined by the villainous Don John's plot to fake Hero's infidelity; and the "merry war" between confirmed bachelors Beatrice and Benedick, who are tricked by friends into falling in love, culminating in a double wedding and reconciliation after the deception is exposed by the bumbling Watch.
