Winter’s Window — Paint at Whistlin’ Jack’s
There’s something pretty magical about being tucked away in the mountains while the snow starts falling outside — and that’s exactly the feeling behind this painting.Join Happily Painted at Whistlin’ Jack’s on Sunday, November 15th to paint Winter’s Window, an original snowy landscape that looks out through a rustic cabin window onto a quiet path surrounded by snow-covered evergreens.
Happily Painted will work through this one step by step, from that deep winter sky and snowy trees to creating the wood grain and little details that make the window look old and rustic. They will show you some favorite tricks for getting snow onto those dark evergreens without losing all of the depth underneath.
This is one of those paintings that looks like there’s a LOT going on, but they will break it down into manageable pieces. You don’t need to already know how to paint trees or landscapes.
And really… where better to paint a snowy mountain scene than at Whistlin’ Jack’s? Sunday November 15 from 1 pm to 3 pm
