RACE THE HOURGLASS!
Welcome! Be part of the first-ever and 1st Annual Central Washington Hourglass—and experience this super fun event!! Franklin Park, 2101 Tieton Drive, Yakima, WA 98902
The distance stays the same. The clock gets shorter.
Complete your loop before the horn and you earn another round. Then the Hourglass turns, the next round gets one minute shorter, and we all line up to try again.
Everybody gets a real challenge. An experienced runner can chase the win. A first-timer can discover a distance they have never covered. A parent and child can compete on the same course. A walker can fight for one more round just as honestly as the person at the front.
You do not need to know how far you can go. That is what we are coming to find out. Kids Race Too!A fast-paced community endurance event where participants choose Run, Walk, Ruck, Hybrid, or the ½-mile Carry. Each round begins with 30 minutes; after every restart, one minute is subtracted until the last participant remains. Groups bringing five or more receive one complimentary coach/team-leader entry.
