  Yakima Parks and Recreation organizes the event for dogs and their owners each summer at Franklin Pool. Dogs swim for free but their owners pay the general admission fee.
  Swimmers both human and canine are invited to the annual Paws in the Pool event from

  2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, August 23rd, at the City of Yakima’s Franklin Pool, 

  All dog breeds, shapes and sizes are welcome. Pet owners must make sure their dogs are current on all shots and vaccinations. Owners are responsible for cleaning up any messes their dogs make. No vicious or aggressive dogs are permitted. Dogs must be leashed until inside the pool area.

  During Paws in the Pool, donations will be accepted for the Yakima Humane Society.
