10th Annual Images of the Shrub-Steppe Exhibition at The Boxx Gallery

Images of the Shrub-Steppe features and celebrates visual art inspired by the lands and life of the shrub-steppe, our local ecosystem in the Yakima Valley. This event, at Boxx Gallery in Tieton, Washington, shares beautiful and unique work reflecting the life and textures of our special home. The Exhibit will run from September 5 – 27, 2026, 11am-4 pm at Boxx Gallery in Tieton, WA.
The Juror's Award and CCC Award will be presented at the Artists' Reception on Saturday, September 5 at 1pm.
Juror’s Award: $100; People’s Choice Award: $100; CCC Award: $100.
The juror for the exhibit is Nancy Floyd. Nancy uses photography, video, and mixed-media to address the ways in which lens-based media can connect deeply with experience and memory. www.nancyfloyd.comThe Boxx gallery will offer ecology- and art-themed talks during the exhibit's run.
