    Experience Yakima's HOP HARVEST! The Yakima Valley is celebrated as the hop capital of the world. Hop aboard the Little Hopper for this unique and unforgettable experience! Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 10:30 AM.

    The Yakima Valley comes alive during hop harvest! Witness the hops being harvested and take a tour through the hop facility as the hops progress from field to baling. The aromas are incredible and the activity is non-stop. Thousands of brewers from around the world visit Yakima during harvest - and you will be able to see, smell, touch the hops just like they do.

    The Tour
    Little Hopper Tours and Rooted Yakima Valley present the Yakima Valley's first Hop Farm and Sensory Experience. Visit family hop farms, tour a hop processing and production facility, and walk among the hop bines (not vines - learn why!). Through hop sensory activities, you will learn about different hop varieties and understand hops' role in brewing great craft beers. Just like brewers from around the world, you will rub hops in the hop selection room and taste beers produced from the farms' hops. Fresh with the knowledge and appreciation of hops, Little Hopper will shuttle you to back to Single Hill Brewing - one of Yakima Valley's award-winning breweries for a look beyond the taproom. Note: Must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.

With a taproom favorite or a creative single-batch brew in hand, learn the process and see the production rooms where some of Yakima's finest craft beers are made.
