    Join Girls with Grit for a day of connection, empowerment, and outdoor adventure at the Women’s Fly Fishing Rendezvous! Kick things off with a gentle, beginner-friendly yoga session led by Shannon inside the cozy lodge — the perfect way to stretch, breathe, and ground ourselves before a day on the water. Afterward, gather over coffee and delicious “river cookies” for a round-robin meet-and-greet, setting the tone for a welcoming and supportive community vibe. You’ll also get a sneak peek into the Women’s Collective, with Ash and Shan sharing exciting opportunities for clinics, university programs, and guided trips.

    Women’s Rendezvous Schedule

    8:30 am to 9:10 pm :: Yoga (40 minutes gentle Hatha class led by Shannon — beginner friendly)
    Inside of lodge
    9:20 am to10 am :: Coffee, River cookies (cut up for ladies to share), round robin to get to know each other
    Inside of Lodge
    10 am to10:30 am :: Ash + Shan introductions + Women’s Collective (chairs to be set up in main room of lodge with projector) 
    Inside of Lodge
    Powerpoint to be created by Shan that goes over women’s clinics, university offerings and guide trips.
    10:30 am to11 am :: Relay race ice breaker :: We’ll get XL waders, boots and fly rods set up for this.
    On the main Lawn
    11 am to 12 pm :: Skills Workshops
    Ashtyn and Shannon will split the group. One will take the group riverside to talk about reading the river and entomology. The other will be on the lawn giving a casting clinic.

    12 pm to1 pm :: Gear Talk + Q & A  + Raffle
    Inside of Lodge
    Gear Talk :: Shan + Ash will bring their own gear to show and talk about :: as well as clothing + footwear options for the different seasons. We can lead the ladies over to the shop after this if they want to purchase and/or try on gear.
    Q & A session :: led by Ash + Shan
    Raffle off prizes 
    1:15 pm :: Optional Lunch at the Grill
