    Escape to the Yakima River Canyon for a Women’s 2-Day Fly Fishing Retreat built for fun, confidence, and real time on the water. With supportive women guides and small group coaching, you’ll spend two days learning, improving, and actually fishing on Washington’s only Blue Ribbon river. Whether you’re brand new or looking to sharpen your skills, we start with a beginner-friendly lesson on the morning of day one and meet you right where you’re at. This is an easy, low-pressure experience designed to feel welcoming and social.

    Many participants come with a friend, and pairs or small groups make it even more fun, but it’s just as easy to come solo and connect with others. Lodging is not included, as many women are local or stay with friends, though Canyon River Lodgeis a great nearby option. Food is also not included, but the group often gathers for dinner, with our guides helping coordinate a night out at Canyon River Grill if you’d like to join. Spots are limited to keep the experience personal. If you’ve been thinking about getting into fly fishing or taking your skills up a notch, this is a great way to spend two unforgettable days on the river.

    The Experience at a Glance

    1 day guided wade fishing on the Naches River

    1 day guided float fishing on the Yakima River

    Daily instruction and coaching from Red’s professional guides

    Fly fishing & casting lesson on Day 1

    Morning yoga session on Day 2

    The group will split in half after the morning activity, half going to the Naches and the other half floating the Yakima River. Rotate the following day.

    All activities begin at 9 am and end at 4:30 pm at Canyon River Ranch

    Optional dinner each evening at the Canyon River Grill (we can coordinate making a group reservation)
