At Velen Winery during Taste of Rattlesnake Hills, guests will experience a menu inspired by bold Mediterranean flavors paired with wines selected to complement each course.
On the menu:
Dolmas with tzatziki paired with Sparkling Black Rosé
Greek keftedes with reduced tomato sauce paired with a 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
Tiramisu sprinkled with pistachios paired with Grenache
One of the best parts of Taste of Rattlesnake Hills is seeing how each winery creates a completely different experience through food, wine, and atmosphere. Velen’s pairing menu brings together savory, rich, and sweet flavors designed to slow the day down and be enjoyed sip by sip.
Start by choosing your check-in winery when you purchase your ticket. That’s where you’ll pick up your credentials and begin your day.
From there, you set the pace. Each winery is open from 11 AM to 5 PM, and your ticket includes entry to all participating locations Some people map out a route ahead of time. Others follow the road and stop where it feels right. At each stop, you can expect curated wine tastings paired with small bites, plus the opportunity to experience each winery’s setting, whether that’s views, grounds, or atmosphere.
There’s no rush. It’s designed to be explored.
Take your time, plan a few must-stops, and leave room to discover something unexpected.
