The Annual Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration takes place at Prosser City Park and includes a classic car show, kiddie parade, Little Miss Prosser Pageant, games in the park, BBQ, and a fireworks display.
Prosser’s old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration on Saturday at City Park on Seventh Street will feature old-fashioned games, entertainment, vendors food and more.
The Prosser Farmers Market will have extended hours from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The classic car show is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Kiddie Parade starts at 10 a.m. from the county courthouse at 1121 Dudley Ave. to City Park.
Bingo and old-fashioned games for youth 12 and younger start at 11 a.m.
A founding fathers skit kicks off entertainment on the Sylvan Stage at 11:15 a.m., followed by the flag raising and a performance by the Prosser Community Band.
The Little Miss Prosser pageant will start at 12:45 p.m. on the Sylvan Stage in City Park.
A free showing of “1776 The Musical,” with a live orchestra, will take place just prior to the fireworks display (weather permitting) at dusk at Prosser High School soccer field, 1500 Paterson Road.-
