Los Hernandez Tamales has been a Yakima Valley tradition since 1990. In 2018 they won the prestigious James Beard Award, honored as one of America’s Classics. Using a traditional family recipe from the beginning, Felipe Hernandez focuses only on quality, never tempted to take any shortcuts. Specialties include pork and chicken tamales year-round and the seasonal favorite asparagus, jalapeño and pepper jack cheese tamales.
