History
Apple Valley News Now is 2 full power TV stations: KAPP, digital channel 35 in Yakima and KVEW, digital channel 42 in Tri-Cities. On September 21, 1970, KAPP first broadcast to the region as an ABC Network affiliate. Approximately one month later KVEW signed on. The stations were built by Apple Valley Broadcasting Inc. and are still owned by that company. Apple Valley Broadcasting is a subsidiary of Morgan Murphy Media.
Apple Valley News Now provides network programming as well as local service to seven counties in Washington and Oregon.
