Efforts from our Convention & Group Sales Department

Our Convention & Group Sales Department distributes convention and group sales leads that generate measurable overnight bookings and identify and pursue conventions that meet sales solicitation criteria. We're often asked to gather member information and/or put together outside activities for their attendees. There?s an information kiosk in the Convention Center where member information is displayed, such as rack cards and calendars. This is helpful to those at registration when asked about what to do in the Yakima Valley.

Efforts from our Yakima Valley Sports Commission

The Yakima Valley Sport Commission works to develop the Yakima Valley as a leading sports destination by advocating for new venues and improvements to existing venues, attracting sporting events and conferences to the Yakima Valley, working with local organizers to bid on state and regional events and serving as a link between event organizers, venues and the hospitality industry.

Efforts from our Marketing Department

The marketing department works to promote members and events via our social media channels and weekly blogs, as well as paid advertising and partnerships with Visit Seattle, the Port of Seattle, the State of Washington Tourism and others.
