    The 7th Annual Yakima Mile, Downtown Yakima Race.

    Every summer, the one-mile stretch of Yakima Avenue is shut down, feet taking on the road. Yakima Mile comprises 11 heats ranging from the non-competitive Family Mile to the Elite Mile. Yakima Mile is a community event that invites you to experience the joy of the mile. The Yakima Mile is a one-mile, point-to-point road race, opening a gradual downhill course along Yakima Ave and finishing in the shadows of the historic Art Deco Larson Building. This mile is for everyone–people of all ages and abilities can come together to celebrate the joy of movement and community!

    The 7th Annual Yakima Mile prize purse will exceed $60,000. Beyond the competition, organizers continue their commitment to fostering a welcoming and one-of-a-kind event; highlighting and celebrating the Yakima Valley. More Information about the race Here.
