    Between the Vines Estate Vineyard Tours at Whitman Hill Winery. Harvest Bounty September 10th - November 2nd. The moment the entire year’s efforts have led up to is finally upon us again. Discover what happens at each stage of harvest and why this is our favorite, yet most demanding, time of year at the winery. We are constantly monitoring the development of the grapes in our 30+ acre vineyard. In the weeks leading up to harvest, our vineyard manager and winemaker make visits to sample grapes, gauging overall balance between sugars, acids, and tannins to determine the optimal time to harvest each block. Wander through the vines tasting grapes for insight into varietal character and the decision making process involved in when to pick. For a wine lover, being part of harvest season is a very special experience as it brings you closer to the terroir that make Whitman Hill wines unique and special.
