    Whitman Hill Winery Comfort & Joy Holiday Drive, November 29th - December 15th. As part of their passionate commitment to supporting North Star Lodge, Whitman Hill Winery is hosting a Comfort and Joy Holiday Drive. The holiday season can be an especially difficult time to undergo cancer treatments, and a display of solidarity can mean all the difference in inspiring hope. Donations can be dropped off at the tasting room. Items that would be of comfort and uplift spirits:

    Comfort Items
    Soft blankets or throws – to keep warm during treatment
    Fuzzy socks or slippers – cozy and comfortable
    Pillows or neck rests – for support during longer sessions
    Eye masks – to help with relaxation or naps
    Hydrating lotions – for dry skin from chemo or radiation

    Practical Needs
    Lip balms – as treatments can cause dry lips
    Journals or notebooks – for tracking appointments, symptoms, or simply for emotional expression

    Entertainment
    Books or magazines – light reading or puzzles to pass time
