  The Sound of Music- Music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein, book by Howard Lindsay & Russell Crouse. November 29th & 30th; December 5th - 7th at 7pm with 2pm matinees on 11/30, and 12/7.

  The Sound of Music tells the tale of young Maria Rainer, whose free spirit has trouble fitting into the rules and regulations of Nonnberg Abbey.  Commissioned by the Mother Abbess to serve as the governess for seven motherless children, Maria transforms the Von Trapp family home from a place of dour rules and regulations to one filled with joy, with laughter, and with music. With unforgettable songs like “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” The Sound of Music will be a holiday treat for the entire family.
