    Harvest Bounty  Between the Vines Estate Vineyard Tours at Whitman Hill Winery  September 25th - October 27th.  The moment the entire year’s efforts have led up to is finally upon us again. Discover what happens at each stage of harvest and why this is our favorite, yet most demanding, time of year at the winery. We are constantly monitoring the development of the grapes in our 25 acre vineyard. In the weeks leading up to harvest, our vineyard manager and winemaker make visits to sample grapes, gauging overall balance between sugars, acids, and tannins to determine the optimal time to harvest each block.  For a wine lover, being part of harvest season can be a very special experience as it brings you closer to the terroir that gives Whitman Hill wines their varietal characteristics.
