    Let us Glow your Mind! Yakima Area Arboretum is excited to announce Luminaria 2023, a candlelit walk through the Arboretum. The event is set to take place on December 8th & 9th, 5pm - 10pm. The event will feature a slightly less than a mile long trail lined with luminarias as well as sparkly festive decor and twinkling lights. Children will be welcomed inside the Jewett Interpretive Center to decorate a luminaria of their own to take home! The Arboretum's Tree House Gift Shop will be offering complimentary gift wrapping with purchase.  New this year: REGISTRATION REQUIRED- Due  to the shortage of City bus drivers, there will be no shuttle service for Luminaria as in previous years, which means we will have limited parking onsite for the event. So in order to provide this opportunity for as many people as possible we will be using an online timed-entry reservation system for all cars wishing to park on the grounds. This will allow us to manage capacity and create an intimate magical moment for your family.
