  Arts and Culture Classes and Workshops

  3pm - 5pm every third Friday of the month– Wa’paas Making Workshop at Yakima Valley Museum. Cultural and traditional teachings are the threads that connect communities to their way of life, serving as a vital link between the past and the present. These values offer guidance, protection, and resilience. In honor of these cultural and traditional ways of healing, this monthly workshop offers an opportunity to learn and practice the art of making a Wa’paas. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials and projects, though supplies will also be available on-site.
