Area Events < Luminaria 2022 at the Yakima Area Arboretum
December 9th & 10th, 6pm - 10pm - Free | Donations Gladly Accepted | Free Shuttles
Our mile-long loop trail will be lit by the light of over 1000 candles and multiple light displays for you and your family to enjoy. The Jewett Interpretive Center will be open for bathroom breaks, shopping, and warming up. On the courtyard you'll find cozy propane fire tables, and Blissful Bites selling their freshly made doughnuts and warm drinks. Be sure to dress for the weather and please leave your pets at home! Pets can create a walking hazard for others on the trail. More information HERE!
The entrance into the Arboretum will be closed starting at 5pm both nights. Only City Shuttles and vehicles with official Handicap Parking Placards will be allowed through. Yakima Transit will be offering their FREE shuttle service from the Kiwanis Park Playfields: 1501 E Maple St, Yakima, WA 98901. Please note: parking will NO LONGER be at the U-Haul lot located across the street from the Arboretum. ahtrees.org
