Doors open at 6:30 PM. Presentation starts at 7:00 PM. Yakima Valley Mushroom Society is hosting Langdon Cook at the Yakima Area Arboretum for our March meeting. Come learn about local wild edibles!

"Langdon Cook is a writer, instructor, and lecturer on wild foods and the outdoors. His books include Upstream: Searching for Wild Salmon, from River to Table (Ballantine, May 2017), a finalist for the Washington State Book Award, The Mushroom Hunters: On the Trail of an Underground America, winner of the 2014 Pacific Northwest Book Award, and Fat of the Land: Adventures of a 21st Century Forager" (To find out more, visit langdoncook.com).

We will also be finalizing our YVMS board elections. Ballots will be available for current members.  Election results will be announced after the presentation.
