Braggin' Rights 2.0 at Drink'n Games

3/19/2020

Location: Yakima

509 W. Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98902

8 p.m. Braggin' Rights is back at Drink’n Games and we're not playing around with a $1,000 FIRST PLACE PRIZE thanks to our amazing sponsor, Saol Salon of Yakima!!! This round will be more challenging, more random, and a lot more fun as we'll be spinning the Braggin' Rights Wheel of fate for categories such as Genre (qualifying round one), Artist (qualifying round 2), and Song (qualifying round 3).  We know there will be a lot of questions regarding how this is going to go so we'll try to answer them all here:

The first two Thursdays (Feb. 13 and Feb. 20) will be open auditions, all skill levels are welcome to try out, there is no entry fee and you are welcome to sing a song of your choice. Each audition night We will be advancing the top 15 singers (30 contestants total) Once the winners have been announced they will spin the "Wheel of Fate" which will determine the Genre of the next week's song.

Qualifying round one will take place Feb. 27th where each of the 30 contestants will perform a song from the genre they were assigned (5 genres total) One person from each genre will be eliminated before winners are announced and will spin the wheel of fate determining which Artist they will be presenting at the next elimination round.

Round two will continue as round one with each contestant performing a song of their choice from the Artist they were previously assigned. 5 people will again be eliminated from the competition and the remaining contestants will spin the wheel to determine which song they will perform during round three.

Round 3 is our final round before the finale. Only the top 10 will advance into the finals where contestants will be able to choose a song of their choice.

We have 3 amazing and musically talented judges for this competition that will be announced later this week!! The judging criteria will be as follows:  Talent, Showmanship, Audience Engagement, and song knowledge.
