Yakima Folklife Festival at Yakima Franklin Park

Yakima Folklife Festival! Celebrating over 35 years of Music & Fun, Always Free! There are always lots of activities for the entire family at the Festival.

Friday evening kickoff concert! Then FREE live music in the park all day Saturday and Sunday. The free music continues Friday and Saturday evening in Downtown Yakima at various venues. 

Children’s Activities Sagebrush Films presents a collection of animated children's films beginning at 12:30pm Saturday followed by an interactive activity in the museum. In the Park, Organized activities are scheduled each hour both Saturday & Sunday. Mikey Mike The Rad Scientist will perform in the Songwriter Stage at 11:30am Saturday and Sunday mornings. Get some of that kid energy out on the park Playground equipment while the adults are close enough to still hear the music. 

Sagebrush Hills Film Festival inside the Museum presents a taste of folk music on film with a folk trip around the world. You'll find a series of short films that spotlight and explore a wide variety of global music traditions, celebrating the many ways that people create music and use it to bring themselves together. Folk music shorts will run from 2pm-5pm Saturday. 

Open Mic Stage and Craft & Food Vendors - - Stop by and listen to, or better yet, join in yourself with the performers on the Open Mic Stage while you cruise the Craft and Food Vendors.

Visit the Museum; learn a little history of our valley... for Free! (Saturday only)

Always a favorite, The Wine & Beer Garden - - Sip your favorite local craft beers and wines while you enjoy the music (21 and older, please).
