Don’t miss the largest and fastest-growing wine tasting event in the Yakima Valley. Spring Barrel Tasting Weekend, April 26 to 28, features more than 100 wineries offering barrel tastings, specials on wine purchases, live music, food vendors, winemaker events and more.
If this is your first time experiencing Spring Barrel Tasting, these vintages are brand new, right out of the barrel, giving tasters a sneak peek into how they could mature. Will it be an award winner? You be the judge!
We’ve put together a quick guide to wineries offering live music and food to complement their fine wines. Stop, relax and enjoy the warm spring day as you sip wine paired with local cuisine and listen to the sounds of music filling the wine country air.
For information about varieties of wine offered for tasting, purchasing a Premier Pass, winemaker events, plus additional participating wineries, visit Yakima Valley’s Spring Barrel Tasting webpage. Remember Spring Barrel Tasting is a “Bring Your Own Glass” weekend. Many wineries are open for Pre- Spring Barrel, April 20-21. This is an opportunity for a bit slower pace and more education from the wine maker as crowds are smaller.
