Kick the weekend off with special Valentine’s Day events at Yakima Valley wineries. Then, take the long Presidents Day weekend to enjoy all special events, tasty treats, music and more at Valley wineries and breweries. In addition to perfect chocolate pairings and live music, you’ll find demonstrations, romantic movies, horse-drawn carriage rides, trail rides, shopping and wine discounts.
Begin your wine tasting experience at the Yakima Valley Visitor Information Center where you can taste a selection of Yakima Valley Vintners wines for $5. Your tasting fee includes a travel wineglass to take along with you at you taste. (Wineries ask that you bring your own glass for event weekends.) While you’re at the Visitor Center, sample delicious Chukar Cherries, pick up a map showcasing all the wineries, a comprehensive event listing for the weekend and the newly published 2020 Yakima Valley Travel Guide.

Knight Hill Winery Visit the barrel room to pair gourmet chocolate drops with differing cacao percentages with the appropriate red wine. Learn why we pair chocolate and red wine! For whites only tasters, there will be chocolate drops with the appropriate percent of cacao paired with chardonnay and Verdelho.
Tucannon Cellars Experience their updated tasting menu including new-release wines and a delicious chocolate pairing. Settle in with a cheese and charcuterie board and a glass of sangria.
AntoLin Cellars Taste a flight of four white wines for only $4 or a flight of five red wines for $6. Tasting fees are waived for Premier Pass holders and wine club members. Enjoy complimentary chocolate-dipped treats for all.
SilverLake Winery The winery will serve a selection of our bold red wines with a selection of chocolate and a delicious red wine hot chocolate.
Bale Breaker Brewing Come for the release of two new barrel-aged, bottled beers on Friday, February 14, at their Valentine’s Day bottle release featuring Wood & Wire Imperial Stout and Exquis Belgian Blonde Ale all weekend, with chocolate available to sweeten the deal. New releases are $15 to go and $20 to open in the taproom. They’ll have Wood & Wire on tap at $5 for 10 ounces.
Single Hill Brewing: Take a culinary adventure with a guided flight of beer paired with chocolate truffles from Essencia Bakery, hosted and guided by their very own certified cicerone, Andrew Pytel! Enjoy a flight (three tasting pours), three truffles and a 10-ounce pour of your favorite beer from the pairing or a limited release barrel aged fruited beer not yet available to the public. Two sessions are scheduled at 12 pm and 1:30 pm. Register early!
Tieton Cider Works Have you ever paired cider chocolate? Enjoy a $10 flight of chocolate and cider with their newest Valentine’s Day release of Bourbon Barrel Cherry Cider paired with Chukar Cherries.

Milbrandt Vineyards and Ryan Patrick Wines Jade’s British Girl Treats will feature a red wine-infused truffle making demonstration at the tasting room on Saturday. Delight in freshly made chocolate truffles with expertly paired wines.
Hightower Cellars Celebrate American Heart Month with a regular wine tasting and an exclusive library wine tasting paired with an educational olive oil tasting.
Yakima Valley Vintners Enjoy a sensory evaluation for some educational fun. They’ll be serving wine-infused brownies but not disclosing the wine used. Register your guess on their Facebook poll and they’ll reveal the wine at the end of the event.
The Yakima Valley Carriage Company Meet Rosie and Ranger, the two new horses on the team. The Carriage Company is introducing them to world with a series of special rides for only $10 on February 15at VanArnam Winery where you can taste Selberg Sweets chocolates and treats from the winery’s Tin Roof Grill. Find them on February 16 at Hyatt Vineyards where you’ll also enjoy decadent chocolate cheesecake!
