From the newest favorite food festival and a wine through the vineyards to a mountain music festival to remember and a new way to celebrate Yakima Valley Wine Country, you’ll find a perfect way to enjoy the flavors, sights and sounds of the Valley. Yakima Taco Fest Yakima’s newest favorite food festival celebrates the Valley’s vibrant Latino culture and agricultural heritage. The event brings people together to taste fusion and traditional tacos and dance to the sweet rhythm of Latin music. Enjoy fantastic flavors from the region’s best taco vendors and stay for the lineup of great music performers. This year’s event is family friendly with fun for all ages, including a STEAM-oriented kids zone and kids dance party. Kids 17 and younger attend for free. Legends Casino Pow Wow & Stick Game Tournament Experience and learn about the tribal traditions of the Yakama Nation as the community shares their culture. Watch hundreds of dancers in colorful regalia, traditional games and more. The event will be held May 16 to 18 at State Fair Park in Yakima. More than $150,000 in cash prizes will be awarded. Find traditional craft and food vendors and much more! The Pow Wow will be held in the SunDome and the Stick Game Tournament will be held indoors in the Modern Living Building.
Rattlesnake Hills Wine Run This could be one of the best races around! On Saturday, May 17, run a 5k or 10k, 15k or half marathon through the beautiful, rolling hills and vineyards of the Yakima Valley’s Rattlesnake Hills Wine Country. Enjoy sipping stops along the way at favorite wineries. Celebrate your finish at the after party complete with more wine, food, vendors and even post-race massages! Bring your ID and have cash on-hand. Check out the next great wine run in the Yakima Valley. The Wilridge Wine Run 5K follows a route through the vineyards at Wilridge Vineyard, Winery and Distillery.
Chinook Fest This iconic mountain music festival is where great music meets the great outdoors with a fantastic lineup featuring Reckless Kelly, Uncle Lucius and more. Chinook Fest 2025, June 12 to 15, will feature everything you love about Chinook Fest and a few new things too. This year, you’ll find glamping tents, car+tent sites, VIP tables and even more activities. You can also enjoy the art of sound healing with a meadow sound bath or wake for morning yoga in the meadow. Find friends and fun in the festival activity zone for games and more. Get ready for the campsite decorating contest. Of course, bring your hiking shoes to explore the surrounding trails. Make your reservations for the greatest mountain music festival, as tickets and RV and camping spots can go quickly. Check out other nearby places to stay. Onsite parking is included with all festival passes. This event is 21+ Thursday through Saturday with kids welcome on Sunday.
Old Town Days See history come to life with a look into the past. On Fathers Day weekend, June 14 to 15, the grounds of the Central Washington Agricultural Museum will be full of living history camps, displays and hands-on activities showcasing pioneer life. Check out the state’s largest Civil War reenactment and family fun to fill the day.
Sunnyside Summer Ale Fest You can’t find a better place for a craft beer festival than right in the heart of hop country. Head to the town of Sunnyside on Saturday, June 21, for a summertime celebration of the world-class hops it produces. Spend a day under the sun with great craft beer, local wine, food and live music.
Rosé Revolution This brand-new event kicked off with an amazing start last summer and returns for a much-anticipated second round June 27 to 29! Join Yakima Valley wineries as they host a pink revolution, showcasing the diversity of all their best rosés. Kick off summer, with a festive splash of pink and enjoy pink-themed festivities, rosé cocktails, perfectly pink pairings and rosé discounts only for the weekend! The Prosser Wine Music Festival is also back for its second year, featuring 20 wineries with free music all weekend long, June 20 to 22.
