15th Annual SunDome Volleyball Festival

9/15/2017 - 9/16/2017

Location: Yakima

The 2017 SunDome Volleyball Festival presented by the Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital, and hosted by the Yakima Valley Sports Commission, will be held September 15-16.  Eighty high school teams - sixty-four (64) varsity and 16 junior varsity - participate in this event annually.  Following is the tournament schedule:

 

Friday, September 15th  

-Play begins at 8 a.m.  The championship match is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

-1B, 2B and 1A varsity teams (32) play at the Yakima Valley SunDome.

 

Saturday, September 16th  

-Play begins at 8 a.m. The championship match starts at 7:30 p.m.

-2A, 3A and 4A varsity teams (32) play at the Yakima Valley SunDome. 

-16 junior varsity teams play at East Valley High School with a slightly different playing schedule.

 

Approximately 65% of the teams will be coming from over 50 miles away to participate.  Tickets are $8 for adults per day and $5 for children (10 & under) and senior citizens (62 & over).
