One of today's most exciting young american string quartets! Winner of the Naumburg Chamber Music Award and top prizes at the Premio Borciani and London International competitions, the Quartet has established an enthusiastic following in the United States and abroad, impressing audiences with its sensitive artistry and communicative powers. The members of the Biava String Quartet, violinists Austin Hartman and Hyunsu Ko, and violinist Mary Persin, and cellist Jason Calloway, presently hold the Lisa Arnold Quartet Residency at the Juilliard School.

Just in time for the Holidays, the Trio Voronezh featuring a winsome trio of Russians playing the domro (mandolin), the bakal (button accordion) and the bass balailaika return to The Seasons.

A highlight of past seasons, they bring comic intensity, amazing facility and a staggering breadth of musical styles. This is a terrific show for the whole family and kicks off our Holiday programming in style.

Just this year they were in the running for a Grammy again for their most recent album, so their quality and output continues unabated. They got their start with an album called "The Gift," now a Holiday Classic. Come welcome them back to Yakima and celebrate the season with new songs.
