Toppenish Lighted Horseman Parade | 11/25/2011

5pm - The Toppenish Chamber of Commerce is having a Lighted Horseman Parade! Decorate your horse(s) in lights and come on out to celebrate the holidays with us!

Prosser Family Christmas Festival | 11/27/2011

Location: Prosser Depot Square
4pm - Join us at Depot Square for the Prosser Family Christmas Festival and celebrate Prosser's designation as One of America's 100 Best Communities for Young People.

Holiday carols, hot chocolate, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, pictures with Santa, giant Christmas stocking drawing and much more. Count down and lighting of Depot Square will commence at dark.

Christmas Tree Lighting, Cocoa and Carols | 12/2/2011

Location: Stokely Square Park - Downtown Grandview
6:30 pm - This year's Cocoa and Carols event is going to take place at the heart of our newly revitalized Alive Downtown. Santa will be bringing candy canes for the children and we plan to have several singing groups providing their renditions of holiday carols. Hot Cocoa will be provided by the Grandview Chamber of Commerce for the event and lighting of the Stokely Square Christmas Tree will occur at 6:30pm, along with throwing the switch on the downtown tree lighting.

Lighted Farm Implement Parade | 12/3/2011

Location: Downtown Sunnyside
6:30pm - Featured on A&E Ultimate Holiday Town USA in 2003, people travel from all over the United States and even the world to enjoy the sights and sounds of this unique and festive celebration designed to capture the spirit of Christmas in Sunnyside's rural environment.

This event is held downtown and boasts more than 50 farm implements, vehicles, and floats covered with decorative lights. The parade route starts on Warehouse Avenue and proceeds to 6th Street, heading south to Edison Avenue. At Edison Ave., the parade heads east until it reaches the Mid-Valley Mall parking lot.

Whispers of Christmas | 12/3/2011

Location: 216 S. 1st St., Selah
6-8pm - The City of Selah presents the annual Whispers of Christmas at the Selah Civic Center. Santa Claus will be at the Civic Center at 6pm to greet the kids and will remain for pictures until 7:30pm. Enjoy your favorite Christmas carols, live music, local entertainment, horse drawn wagon rides, cookies, apples, juice, hot chocolate, and coffee. Free event. For information, call 509-698-7300.

Victorian Christmas | 12/4/2011

Location: Yakima, 2109 W. Yakima Ave.
1-4pm at the H.M. Gilbert Homeplace. Free. Step into the cozy atmosphere of the Gilbert House as we celebrate a Victorian Christmas. Guests entering the home will be transported back in time, through the sights, sounds, and smells of a Victorian home during the holiday season. Downtown Yakima Holiday Light Parade | 12/4/2011

Location: Downtown Yakima, S. 6th Ave. and W. Yakima Ave.
Yakima's annual Downtown Christmas Lighted Parade will commence at 5:30pm at South Sixth Avenue and go east down Yakima Avenue to South 3rd St. to Millenium Plaza. The lighting of the community Christmas tree will follow, along with a visit from Santa Claus who will pass out candy canes. 20th Annual Luminaria | 12/9/2011 - 12/10/2011

Location: 1401 Arboretum Dr., Yakima
Free family event, from 6-9pm each night. The entire family will enjoy the magical luminaria walk through the arboretum's wintery landscape. Follow a mile-long candle-lit pathway through the Yakima Area Arboretum, over a 1000 candles will light your way. Venture past the tallest lighted Christmas tree in Central Washington. Stroll through the twinkling lights of the Japanese Garden and then onto the Jewett Interpretive Center where you will warm up with steaming cups of Starbuck's coffee, hot apple cider from Tree Top, and tasty treats from the kitchen crew at Zirkle Fruit Company. While warming up, enjoy live music from talented local musicians. Children can make their own luminary bag to take home. For information, call 509-248-7337.

Winterfest 2011 | 12/10/2011

Location: 1107 Grace, Benton City
10am-4pm - followed by lighted parade at 5pm with tree lighting ceremony and caroling to follow. Family fun festival featuring large arts and crafts bazaar/holiday market and lots more.

The lighted parade starts at Ki-Be Middle School at 5pm and heads downtown. No admission charge, but donation of a non-perishable food item is requested for the Benton City Community Resource Board Holiday Baskets program. Union Gap Old Town Lighted Christmas Parade | 12/11/2011

Location: Main St., Union Gap
The annual Union Gap Old Town Lighted Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. at the Pepp'rmint Stick Drive-in at 4002 Main St. and travel north of Main to the Community Tree at 2904 Main St. For more information, call 509-575-6092.

Granger Free Bus Tour of Lights | 12/13/2011

Location: Granger, Granger Chamber of Commerce
Enjoy a tour of lights in Granger via the comfort and community fellowship of a school bus. The tour begins at 6:30pm at NCEC (KDNA) building and lasts about an hour. Refreshments will follow.
