    Elk and Big Horn Sheep Feeding Station

    Location: Naches

    Elk are fed daily at 1:30 pm at the Oak Creek Headquarters, and the bighorn sheep are fed mid-morning at the Cleman Mountain feeding site. A normal winter season is mid-December to early March. Truck tours are available on a first-come, first served and reservation basis to take visitors out amongst the elk. These tours are supported by donations.

    The visitor center at the Oak Creek Headquarters is open every day between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and is staffed by AmeriCorps and Wildlife Education Corps volunteers. Look for the helpful folks in the blue vests and caps. The center has a video program, exhibits, and a kids' corner. All vehicles must have a Discover Pass or Vehicle Access Permit to view the exhibits and for parking. There is 15 minutes free parking.

    Larson Gallery - From the Ground Up

    This exhibit features clay works of many artists. The six-week venue for this show affords us the opportunity to connect with the NCECA (National Council for Education in the Ceramic Arts) convention and to explore in depth the medium of clay and the world of ceramics. The Red Wine and Chocolate event weekend in the Yakima Valley provides a distinctive and elegant offering of fine chocolate and fine wine. Visit the more than 50 wineries during this Presidents' Day weekend. Each winery pairs sumptuous chocolate desserts with their very own remarkable red wines.
