This ride starts at the Yakima Area Arboretum; brings you passed hop fields, an operating hop kiln in season, an old barn, as well as expansive views of orchards and vineyards. At 19.5 miles into the ride you will reach Claar Cellars Winery. El Porton Mexican Restaurant is near the winery for a great lunch stop. Don’t forget dessert at Patricia’s Chocolate Emporium, offering Frozen Bananas, Ice Cream Bars, many flavors of ice cream, milk shakes and a wonderful selection of delicious handmade chocolates.
Treveri Cellars Sparking Winery at 35.5 miles has a great view of Mt. Adams from its hillside location. Along Birchfield Road you will pass the Birchfield Manor Bed & Breakfast offering fine dining Thursday through Saturday. A stay at this B&B offers convenient access to bike riding to the Zillah area wineries of the Rattlesnake Hills AVA and the scenic Yakima Valley Highway.
