Promotional Assistance
We understand the importance of assisting with your conference promotion. The Yakima Valley VCB has a variety of promotional materials such as podcasts, video "vignettes", mini-PowerPoint’s, brochures and maps for your use. Please ask us for more information on these services.
Online Group Reservations
The Yakima Valley VCB recently purchased the rights to use Meeting Max software for on-line housing reservations. This software is also utilized by the Spokane Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Tri-Cities Visitors and Convention Bureau, providing consistency for our customers to use on-line housing reservations.

Conference Support
Site Selections
The Yakima Valley VCB acts as a liaison with our convention properties, gathering specific rate and date availability information. We can also coordinate site inspections or a "familiarization" tour of facilities and local attractions. To help start planning your event, please utilize our Request For Proposal form that will be sent directly to the sales staff at the VCB.
Convention Planning
We are able to assist in planning your conference activities such as entertainment, off-site dining options, spouse and family programming, tours, and recreational activities. Please see our calendar of Yakima Valley events for fun and rewarding activities throughout the valley.
Convention Promotion
The Yakima Valley VCB has promotional material such as brochures, maps, and a video, highlighting the Yakima Valley.
Area Information
We can provide an assortment of informational brochures on the Yakima Valley. Our Visitors Guide is an excellent source for your delegates, with a wealth of information about our area restaurants, local businesses, shopping and area attractions. This material can be provided for pre-event mailing or for use at on-site registration tables.
Local Publicity
A local media list is available for your use in contacting newspaper, radio, and television sources. We can also schedule a press conference upon your request.
