Open Through December 2007 with Winter Hours
Johnson Orchards will be open through December 2007 with apples, pears and fresh unpasteurized apple cider. They will also have fruit gift baskets and gift boxes available during the holiday season. Their winter hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, Saturday 8:30am - 4pm and closed on Sunday. Depending on fruit ripening, they will reopen in Mid-June 2008 with cherries. Thompson's Market is open daily between April 1 and November 1 each year. Their farm is open for U-Pick Saturday and Sunday during harvest. Central Washington Agricultural Museum
Historic & Antique Farm Equipment
This museum was started in 1983 to educate the public about the processes and equipment used in early agriculture. This is accomplished through restoring and displaying early farm equipment and household items from the Yakima Valley.
Located in Union Gap Washington, at the base of Rattelsnake Ridge it's park like surroundings hold equipment and information ranging from a fully functional 1940s sawmill to a 1975 Farmall tractor. The museum is staffed by an all volunteer workforce of knowledgeable and friendly people who actually work with the equipment on display.
