Welcome to the 2009 SunDome Volleyball Festival and YVCC JV Satellite Tournament! We are excited to provide this opportunity as a way to sharpen your team against diverse competition. The two days (two separate tournaments) of volleyball take place on eight sport courts in the Yakima Valley SunDome, home of the WIAA 1B, 2B and 1A Washington State Volleyball Championships.
On Friday, September 11th, we will host a 32-team 1B, 2B, 1A and 2A tournament and an 8-team junior varsity (1B – 2A) tournament at Yakima Valley Community College. On Saturday, September 12th, we will host a 32-team tournament for 2A (higher skill level), 3A and 4A varsity teams and an 8-team junior varsity tournament at YVCC (2A-4A).
Teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of 10 games and may play up to 15 games in a single day. Unlike those tournaments that start at 5 or 10 points, we play complete games to 25 points.
